On this episode of The Young and the Restless, Sharon wears a purple cashmere sweater. As she checks into the institution for evaluation, one can't help but hope for a Shutter Island twist of sorts. You know, where she pulls a DiCaprio and truly believes she's sane when in reality, she's been imagining the last couple of months (if not years). I've even taken the liberty of coming up with a handy dandy anagram for her name and everything. Behold, crazy Sharon Newman is "Ronna Newsham." Hopefully, nobody orders her to be lobotomized at the end of all of this. And with that, the chief closing question of the movie should be posed because it is rather applicable to Sharon's new BFF Daisy, who in a surprising turn of events, is actually alive. "Which would be worse? To live as a monster, or die as a good [person]?"
