On this episode of The Young and the Restless, Avery wears a drape dress. There is no doubt fashion and food make a lovely pair. In fact, fashionista.com has pointed out that the duo are having a bit of a love affair right now a la Nick and Avery. Jourdan Dunn has her own cooking show, Karlie Kloss has launched a line of cookies, a Cesar Casier has a cookbook that is flying off the shelves. And of course, one cannot forget the CFDA's cookbook full of designers' best recipes. Now Avery may be keeping her cooking for friends and family only (okay, mainly Nick) but Is it any wonder the color of her dress is listed as "grape?"
On this episode of The Young and the Restless, Avery wears a red bodycon long sleeve dress. Remember when Pippa Middleton wrote her party planning book "Celebrate" and critics slammed it by saying most of the tips were obvious? Well, enter parody Twitter account @pippatips with gems like, "Make lunchtimes more interesting by buying some food and eating it with your mouth" and "Do you like cake? Simply make one with the right ingredients or buy one ready made and eat it." Now if Avery can whip up a delicious meal in a thousand dollar dress, who says the Duchess of Cambridge's sister can't give Thomas Paine a run for his money with her book of common sense and then spoof herself in an editorial?

On this episode of The Young and the Restless, Avery wears an asymmetric wrap t-shirt. Does anyone else think she needs her own cooking show like yesterday? Avery seems to be a whiz in the kitchen and it has already been proven she excels in the courtroom. Wouldn't it be fantastic if she could talk legalese while showing viewers how to make mouthwatering muffins? Even her apartment is the perfect backdrop to host a cooking show. Perhaps The Next Food Network Star is in her future but in the meantime, Genoa City's very own Giada De Laurentiis (sans the creepy smile) is whipping up some magic. That is, when she's not busy making hungry eyes at Nick.

On this episode of The Young and the Restless, Avery wears a belted blazer. Looks like this queen is between a rook and a hard place as she attempts to come up with a strategy for how to play this particular game of chess. Avery better check with Phyllis before she and Nick oFischerly mate. That is, if she wants to attempt to maintain a good relationship with her sister. After all, if Red is merely used as a pawn in her sister's game, there is going to be a lot of anger across the board.

On this episode of The Young and the Restless, Avery wears a grey skirt suit. Does anyone else think she and Phyllis share some similarities with the Bronte sisters? Phyllis and Avery continuously fight over the same man, Nick. Perchance Charlotte and Emily fought over the same male pseudonym? Moreover, the nineteenth century sisters were close as a result of several tragic deaths in their family hence it was the death of Phyllis and Avery's father that ended up bringing the two together. Lastly, it is no secret that both sets of siblings antics have been said to warrant negative attention. At least Avery is comely in this suit.

On this episode of The Young and the Restless, Avery wears a green dress. One can't help but compare her to Gloria Allred not only for always looking polished, but for her penchant for controversial cases. Face it, Avery hasn't yet met a high-profile case she hasn't accepted which may be part of her problem: one minute she's defending a person and the next, she's prosecuting them. Another perk of always providing her legal services to Genoa City's finest? Plenty of free media coverage (which Abby would kill for) meaning she has to look positively flawless at all times. Luckily, she does not disappoint in this green number.

On this episode of The Young and the Restless, Avery wears a turquoise blazer. When it comes to Paul's case, it's as if she's adapted the role of the rabbit in Alice in Wonderland, running around town saying, "I'm late, I'm late, for a very important date." Avery isn't exactly a Queen of Hearts having dropped her sister's case and subsequently representing the man her sister "allegedly" attempted to run over years ago. Then again, constantly falling down Phyllis' rabbit hole of lies must have been utterly exhausting. If only she could have made her sister take a "Drink Me" potion that would have made all her "false truths" come tumbling out or off with her head! Maybe it's best the sisters aren't working together after all. In the words of Alice, "Curiosity often leads to trouble."

On this episode of The Young and the Restless, Avery wears a blue and white wrap dress. One can't help but wonder how she's even related to Phyllis as the two women cannot be more different. Say what you will about Phyllis but at least she takes a side and sticks to it, even if it's till the bitter end. Avery, on the other hand, is like that sports fan without loyalty who merely cheers for the winning team. At least when it comes to her legal skills, she is in A League of Her Own but it must get mighty confusing defending the plaintiff one minute and the defendant the next. Especially when it's for the same case. As long as Avery manages to keep her composure without dropping the ball, more power to her. Funny how there's no crying in baseball but nobody ever said anything about switching teams.

On this episode of The Young and the Restless, Avery wears a navy silk blouse. One could venture to say she is channeling Elle Woods in Legally Blonde given her penchant for the law and her determination to win her sister's case. Avery knows Christine will bend the rules and snap her fingers at everyone in office to get a conviction. Hopefully, the duo can leave Ms. Blair stomping those last season Prada shoes in frustration. And given that Phyllis is a strong and tough person, it isn't too much of a stretch to call her Bruiser. Now the real question is, are both sisters Gemini Vegetarians?

On this episode of The Young and the Restless, Avery wears a purple dress. As she questions her sister about her whereabouts those many moons ago, Sister Avery should realize she's not exactly a saint herself. Then again, it's not like she's the one being accused of attempted murder like dear Phyllis. Avery certainly earns points with the big man upstairs seeing as how she stands by her sister and even offers to defend her upon arrest. And holy smokes, looks like she's defending more than just the right to bare arms in this form fitting frock.

On this episode of The Young and the Restless, Avery wears a black dress with zippers. She makes a bona fide effort to do the right thing and decline Victor's job offer for Michael's sake. In this case, however, things work themselves out when her friend doesn't judge her but encourages her to accept. Speaking of judging, Avery's dress is proof beyond a reasonable doubt that a good outfit really lays down the law when it comes to the power of an attorney.
She is wearing a Karen Millen black bodycon dress that retails for $299.00. It is pictured below.

On this episode of The Young and the Restless, Avery wears a beige dress. Don't let the drab color fool you because this lawyer really knows how to push people's buttons, and not just with her wardrobe! First Avery saunters into Genoa City to make Phyllis' life hell by defending her arch nemesis Sharon. Then, she sleeps with a man who just so happens to be the ex-husband of her sister and of her former client. Finally, Avery paints a pretty pathetic picture of Sharon to defend Nick in the custody battle over Faith. Red's long lost sibling really knows how to color the town crazy. Stay classy, Avery. At the very least, this dress helps hide her off-color behavior.
