Eden loses her memory and all of a sudden, everyone in town is talking about her, fawning all over her, and arguing about her best interest. Look at Samantha Who, she temporarily loses her memory and milks it for several seasons. (You know Abby is kicking herself for not thinking of faking memory loss.) Perhaps it's time for Eden's loved ones to stop and smell the roses, really appreciate the time they spend with her. This being said, she may not remember any precious moments from the past if the hypnosis attempt proves futile.
