On this episode of The Young and the Restless, Nikki wears a teal dress. Victor telling her to "let things go" with Sharon is like telling Taylor Swift to forgo buying a mansion in the vicinity of her latest boyfriend's house. Speaking of homes, sure Nikki has every right to be peeved that Sharon burned hers to the ground but can't she just follow Taylor's example ie move on and buy a new one? Simple, easy, done. Almost like every one of the country singer's "swift" relationships, right? Now we just have to wait for the sad ballad on her next album about the flooded basements, broken heater, and terrible termite problems. You've got to admit, this method sounds a whole lot easier than secretly playing detective in hopes to throw your ex-daughter-in-law in prison for good.

On this episode of The Young and the Restless, Nikki wears a gold sequin dress. As she celebrates the holidays bathed in a golden glow, one can't help but think of the Golden Globe nominations being announced today. Nikki knows Victor is "Breaking Bad" by inviting Adam and Chelsea to their "Homeland" but instead of being "Les Miserables", they turn the housewarming party into the "Best Exotic Marigold" evening imaginable. Meanwhile, "Downton Abbey" sends her bartender boyfriend Carmine over as a little surprise although thankfully, he does manage to keep his "Silver Linings Playbook" in check. Then Sharon crashes the "Moonrise Kingdom", there is a "Rise of the (Newman) Guardians", and you just know at that moment Nick wishes he was "Salmon Fishing in the Yemen." Pretty "Brave" of Sharon to attempt to make amends but she should know better than to think she can reason with "The Intouchables" during such "A Royal Affair. "

On this episode of The Young and the Restless, Nikki wears a black lace shirt. Now that the ridiculous kidnapping drama is behind them, no one can breathe a sigh of relief since Victoria was never really in any danger in the first place. Seriously, the whole ordeal went a little something like this: "'Don't have the money in time, Billy? No problem, here's the phone so you can comfort your wife.' 'Uncomfortable in a small dark closet, Victoria? Let's move you to a bigger room with better lighting.' 'Hungry? Here, have some of Miami's finest Cuban food.' 'Bored? Let's bond over how we don't have custody of our kids.'" For all purposes, Eddie G. may as well have been carrying a water gun. How did Victoria's kidnapper ever survive prison? Anyhow, now that Nikki has her daughter back, she can focus on planning her 500th wedding to Victor and redecorating the ranch. Oh, the life of a Newman.

On this episode of The Young and the Restless, Nikki wears a black dress with an asymmetric neckline. Anyone think her resemblance to Mary Todd Lincoln is uncanny? Think about it, Nikki is Genoa City's "First Lady" given her status as President Victor's main squeeze and she was also married to Jack, a man who was shot. It is no secret Nikki has loved both Jack and Victor, bitter business rivals while Mary was courted by Abe as well as Stephan Douglas, who eventually became political rivals. (Lincoln-Douglas debates, anyone?) Lastly, Lincoln's wife is said to have suffered from severe mood swings which just so happen to resemble Nikki's behavior as of late; she seems to go from sobbing uncontrollably over the ranch to happily announcing her engagement to cattily attacking Sharon all in a matter of minutes. Here's to hoping she'll paint the Newman Ranch white once the renovations get underway.

On this episode of The Young and the Restless, Nikki wears a purple velvet jacket. Perhaps her wardrobe is an indication of what kind of cake she will be enjoying on her wedding day to Victor: red velvet. And hopefully, Nikki will take viewers behind the velvet rope for the entire wedding planning process and Newman Ranch redecorating. Who knows, if she plans winter nuptials, perhaps her wedding dress may even be made of, you guessed it, velvet.

On this episode of The Young and the Restless, Nikki wears a peach bow blouse. Isn't it ironic she is shocked by Jack's recent actions yet she could have prevented this whole mess if she would have turned down his proposal. It's just like The Little Mermaid: Nikki gave Jack his legs and in the end, he found his voice. Sure, the newly feisty Abbott was never singing underwater songs about being "Part of that (Victor's) World" but he was certainly thinking it, right? As for the Newmans, now that Jack finally has the reigns of the company, one can only feel sorry for those "Poor Unfortunate Souls."

On this episode of The Young and the Restless, Nikki wears a blue dress. Is anyone else hoping she goes all "Amanda Clark" on Sharon now that Victor has been found? There is no doubt Nikki wants Revenge after what the wretch did to Newman Enterprises; Sharon had no trouble putting the "fun" in the Mustache's "funeral." Hey, she even has her supporting cast right alongside her: spoiled little bratty Charlotte? Abby. Computer tech wiz Nolan? Kevin. A mother like Victoria who will go to any lengths to protect her son? Phyllis. Now, we'll have to swap the luxurious Hamptons setting for a piece of Genoa City in the process but that's doable. Especially if the clothes are continually up to par.
Unfortunately, the dress does not seem to be available any longer in blue but here it is in magenta. Thank you to Melody Thomas Scott on Twitter and Sheilla on Facebook for ID'ing this dress.
