Entrepreneur would obviously go to Sharon (not) while Editor would go to Phyllis, and Comedy to Avery. However Genoa City's Woman of the Year award would have to go to Lauren. Besides her brush with the law given a certain hand-held weapon, she has managed to stay in a loving committed relationship with her husband, raise a nice young son (so far), and runs what seems to be the city's only clothing boutique all while wearing amazing clothes. On this episode of The Young and the Restless, Jill wears a red jacket and a horseshoe necklace. Tell me you see that her triumphant return calls E.B. White's Charlotte's Web to mind? Katherine is Wilbur, about to be slaughtered by her business colleagues for returning to her CEO position at Chancellor Industries. Jill, on the other hand, is Charlotte, weaving her arguments into pleas and insults to get her friend to reconsider. It doesn't help that Lauren's dear sister is also pretty bloodthirsty, admitting she thinks she would be perfect for the job herself. As for Tucker, he's surely Templeton the rat as many do not know his true motives and he is and always has been self-serving. This should make for an interesting storyline and more importantly, for a stylish one at that as the cobwebs are finally brushed off Jill's collection of stellar signature statement necklaces!

This just so happens to parallel the fact that the globally renowned feline has no mouth, therefore making her expression impossible to decipher. One can choose to spend time interpreting Phyllis' words as truth versus fiction (Nick) or the acclaimed cat's inner most thoughts and feelings (thirteen year old girls) or both (me) but either way, it doesn't change the fact that this jacket is the cat's meow.
