On this episode of The Young and the Restless, Phyllis wears a draped silk blouse and gold chain drop earrings. If this was the hit Broadway show Wicked, there is no question she would be Elphaba. Phyllis, much like the musical's leading lady, isn't exactly "Dancing Through Life" these days; she isn't very "Popular" given her recent actions. Sure, Red makes "Defying Gravity" look like a cakewalk after escaping charges of attempted murder but only time will tell if she is ready to end things with Nick "For Good." In the meantime, there's no doubt she'll be green with envy seeing her soon to be ex-husband with her sister.

On this episode of The Young and the Restless, Jill wears a red jacket and a horseshoe necklace. Tell me you see that her triumphant return calls E.B. White's Charlotte's Web to mind? Katherine is Wilbur, about to be slaughtered by her business colleagues for returning to her CEO position at Chancellor Industries. Jill, on the other hand, is Charlotte, weaving her arguments into pleas and insults to get her friend to reconsider. It doesn't help that Lauren's dear sister is also pretty bloodthirsty, admitting she thinks she would be perfect for the job herself. As for Tucker, he's surely Templeton the rat as many do not know his true motives and he is and always has been self-serving. This should make for an interesting storyline and more importantly, for a stylish one at that as the cobwebs are finally brushed off Jill's collection of stellar signature statement necklaces!

On this episode of The Young and the Restless, Heather wears a pink boucle cropped jacket. As she comes to terms with the prosecution losing the case against Phyllis, one can't help but think of unjust court case outcomes, namely the one in To Kill A Mockingbird. Tom Robinson was convicted of raping Bob Ewell's daughter Mayella although all the evidence pointed towards his innocence. Similarly, it doesn't take a Scout to see that Phyllis is hardly a mockingbird, or rather a poor innocent creature merely bringing joy to the lives of others. The new judge may have thought she wouldn't say Boo to a goose but those in her life know they would likely find more lies and secrets in her past than there were gifts in Mr. Radley's tree.

On this episode of The Young and the Restless, Avery wears a green dress. One can't help but compare her to Gloria Allred not only for always looking polished, but for her penchant for controversial cases. On this episode of The Young and the Restless, Phyllis wears a brown cropped jacket. Lately, she's been getting a lot of negative attention for her criminal past. It must be a relief to her that Victor's death is shifting some of the spotlight off of her. It's like at the Emmys this year when Jimmy Kimmel told Tracy Morgan to pretend to pass out on the stage and proceeded to tell the audience to tweet about it. That stunt certainly took some of the heat off Sofia Vegara's Zuhair Murad mermaid pageant teal dress. Speaking of Modern Family, if Sharon and Tucker get married, Abby's stepmother will be marrying her ex-stepfather. Strange, huh?

On this episode of The Young and the Restless, Lauren wears a striped jacket. If only life for her was as simple as being put on probation for missing a dance recital a la Dance Mom's Brooke and Paige. Lauren, however, can hardly pirouette her troubles away by getting to the top of Abby Lee Miller's dance pyramid as she is facing her own convoluted pyramid of laws. Hey, at the very least the District Attorney's wife is already wearing stripes which means she's all set for a last minute Cell Block Tango number.

One can skirt around the issue of who should raise Lucy but Phyllis gets a crochet star for this dress.
