On this episode of The Young and the Restless, Sharon wears a camel v-neck sweater. Gwen Stefani, Vogue's January cover girl, opens up in the issue saying she feels guilty about being a working mom. Sharon, a fellow blond, has plenty of reasons to feel guilty as well. Yes, she was a working mother at one point too when she was busy running Victor's company into the ground but now, a certain fire is likely the thing causing her many sleepless nights. Since Restless Style seems to be tanking, Sharon may not be getting her magazine cover a la Gwen but in the end, taking responsibility for her wrongdoing is probably better left out of any publication. At least that's what any decent lawyer would advise...
On this episode of The Young and the Restless, Summer wears a pink printed floral scarf. What if she didn't fake forgiveness and was sorry for her actions? What if Summer actually forgave Phyllis? Right now, those things are about as likely to happen as if somebody created a Tumblr called "What if Adele was Mrs. Doubtfire?" Oh wait, somebody not only made one but it seems to be a bona fide hit. Perhaps this bodes well for the people Summer is currently terrorizing; "Looks Like a Lady" may actually get around to apologizing and meaning it. Eventually. J.Crew Printed Wool Scarf
On this episode of The Young and the Restless, Sharon wears a powder blue sweater. After all the time she has been spending rearranging furniture, she should be a pro by now. Maybe with her new-found interior decorating skills, Sharon can head on over to Billy and Victoria's house and bring that 1950s decor into, you know, this century. That is, if she isn't thrown in jail for burning the Newman Ranch to the ground. On the bright side, even Martha Stewart had a knack for decorating small spaces.
On this episode of The Young and the Restless, Lily wears a purple drape neck top. In this situation, it is not hard to see that she is channeling Debra Barone and Genevieve is Marie Barone. Poor Lily is trying to do what is best for her children and Genevieve is stopping by, meddling, and being an overall pain in the behind. Funnily enough, Genevieve also has a favorite child (Samantha) just like Marie (Raymond). Fortunately, Genevieve is having financial problems and will not be buying the house across from the Ashby residence anytime soon unless Tucker comes around and decides to buy it for her. And because EverybodyLovesRaymondLily'stop...
*Pretty certain this is it (Lee Three-quarter sleeve cowlneck tee) but unfortunately, they do not have the top available in the color she is wearing. Here is an alternative.
On this episode of The Young and the Restless, Sharon wears a purple cashmere sweater. As she checks into the institution for evaluation, one can't help but hope for a Shutter Island twist of sorts. You know, where she pulls a DiCaprio and truly believes she's sane when in reality, she's been imagining the last couple of months (if not years). I've even taken the liberty of coming up with a handy dandy anagram for her name and everything. Behold, crazy Sharon Newman is "Ronna Newsham." Hopefully, nobody orders her to be lobotomized at the end of all of this. And with that, the chief closing question of the movie should be posed because it is rather applicable to Sharon's new BFF Daisy, who in a surprising turn of events, is actually alive. "Which would be worse? To live as a monster, or die as a good [person]?"
On this episode of The Young and the Restless, Nikki wears a red paisley printed shirt. If one were to ever utter her name and Carrie Bradshaw's name from Sex and the City in the same sentence, it would likely be for their ability to "turn a trick." Nikki, however, has managed to make the show's infamous post-it breakup scene look like a stroll in Central Park on a sunny day. Imagine getting a breakup text ending your nuptials before the ink on your marriage certificate has even dried only to find out the message was sent by your new husband's jealous ex-wife. That even somehow makes Big's breakup text to Carrie calling off their wedding while he was pulling up the ceremony look reasonably tolerable. Well, maybe not. Either way, time for some Cosmos and retail therapy!
On this episode of The Young and the Restless, Chloe wears a strapless lace dress and layered necklaces. She's clearly unfazed by the fact that the George Kotsiopoulos of E!'s Fashion Police is in the Restless Style building. Then again, Chloe has nothing to worry about considering she will not exactly be "Busted!" committing any fashion felonies. Something tells me Giuliana, Kelly, and Joan would all be forgoing their "Streetwalker" panels and holding up "Starlet" signs instead if they got a glimpse of her in this "Hot Ticket" mini lace number. Here are the details of this look for those that "Gotta Have It!"
She is wearing the Mason Lace Strapless Mini Dress pictured below. It retailed for $485.00 but unfortunately, it is no longer available.
On this episode of The Young and the Restless, Phyllis wears a maxi dress. When she is brought into the station for questioning, it begs the question of whether she is guilty of killing Dr. Tim Reid. As Phyllis ponders answering Michael's burning questions, it becomes quite apparent Christine's forgiveness is out of the question. At the very least, she has had Nick by her side ever since he popped the question. As for the line of questioning, ask Phyllis no questions and hear no lies.
On this episode of The Young and the Restless, Nikki wears a tweed jacket. Apparently, she has reached the last straw with Victor after her horseback riding accident. Nikki knows the two were great during their hayday but lately, he has been taking free reign when it comes to honesty. She knows this is unstable for their relationship and so, she sends Mr. Newman riding off into the sunset. While Nikki may have a broken heart, thankfully the only stitches on her are the ones on her fabulous tweed jacket.
On this episode of The Young and the Restless, Roxy wears an animal print fedora. There is no doubt she returns to town at the purrfect time. If Roxy had waited even a second longer, Abby would have pounced on her man! Really makes one paws and think about friendship and loyalty, huh? That and the perfect cheetah hat, of course.
On this episode of The Young and the Restless, Abby wears a snakeskin printed romper. As she romps around town in her drunken state, it is no coincidence that she is wearing this outfit. At least the Naked Heiress had the good sense not to shed her clothes this time.
On the April 8, 2011 episode of The Young and the Restless, Sofia marries Malcolm. This blushing (and pregnant) bride looks radiant in the simple yet elegant design.
*Update 6/5/11: Thanks to a Soap Opera Digest interview with talented Y&R costume designer Jennifer Johns, she revealed that Sofia's wedding dress was by Alfred Angelo and retailed for $599.00.
On this episode of The Young and the Restless, Phyllis learns her marriage from Nick has officially ended. She is wearing a gold sparkle sweater similar to these options.
