On this episode of The Young and the Restless, Victoria wears a trim sweater. The fact that she's choosing to work on her marriage to Billy instead of running to Victor is about as surprising as LA Reid's departure from The X Factor. In other words, hardly worth an eyebrow raise. Of course, there were obvious signs in both cases; from the beginning it was clear the Demi/Britney/Khloe demographic would do better with somebody like Bieber as a judge (although nobody's getting their hopes up) while Victor has been trying to break up "Villy" since day one. Now LA can finally grab some downtime in LA while the Abbots are off to rekindle their romance in Jamaica. That being said, Victoria may want to trade in her sweaters for some sunscreen.

On this episode of The Young and the Restless, Nikki wears a black lace shirt. Now that the ridiculous kidnapping drama is behind them, no one can breathe a sigh of relief since Victoria was never really in any danger in the first place. Seriously, the whole ordeal went a little something like this: "'Don't have the money in time, Billy? No problem, here's the phone so you can comfort your wife.' 'Uncomfortable in a small dark closet, Victoria? Let's move you to a bigger room with better lighting.' 'Hungry? Here, have some of Miami's finest Cuban food.' 'Bored? Let's bond over how we don't have custody of our kids.'" For all purposes, Eddie G. may as well have been carrying a water gun. How did Victoria's kidnapper ever survive prison? Anyhow, now that Nikki has her daughter back, she can focus on planning her 500th wedding to Victor and redecorating the ranch. Oh, the life of a Newman.

Who knows which of the two women will end up with the black eye or if restraining orders will follow suit but the best part of this comparison? Victor is Halle Berry. On this episode of The Young and the Restless, Phyllis wears a black dress with a purple leaf design. People are always comparing themselves or others to famous actors and quoting movie lines. Well what about using movie titles to summarize life? For example, a film symbolizing Phyllis' life presently would be "Unfaithful." Ronan's currently taking "Liar, Liar" to heart. Sharon represents "How to Lose Friends and Alienate People" wonderfully. Unfortunately for Nick, "Clueless" comes to mind. That being said, Phyllis was anything but when she chose this beautiful dress.

Special Request- August 1, 2012 Episode- Sharon Newman
On this episode of The Young and the Restless, Sharon wears a houndstooth dress with a contrast exposed lace bra. What better way to engage a man than to wear such a revealing dress. Sharon manages to get engaged to Victor, completely bypassing the whole Engagement Chicken recipe. The rules of engagement are a bit different in this instance, however, because this is not your typical boil meets grill story. Mr. Newman is her ex-father-in-law and the grandfather to her children, thus he has long been engaged in Sharon's life. There is no doubt many in town will be steamed to hear the news but it will certainly spice up many lives.

Do you like Chelsea's wedding dress?
On the July 20, 2012 episode of The Young and the Restless, Chelsea marries Adam. When her groom first sees her in her dress, he calls her a "fuzzy little kitten with a ball of yarn." Sharon's presence in town had the potential to turn things pawsitively catastrophic when she let the cat out of the bag that she still loves Adam. Thankfully, he told her he's committed to Chelsea and the wedding couldn't have gone more purrfectly.

On this episode of The Young and the Restless, Gloria wears a leopard satin bustier dress. Apparently when Jeffrey proposes to her, she finds it very engaging because she marries him minutes later. And not one to ever follow tradition, Gloria decides to forgo the white on her wedding day. Since she's remarrying Jeffrey, she's got her something old. As for the dress? Turns out it's new, blue and borrowed from Fenmore's. Talk about a match made in heaven!
Looks like the wardrobe department added the feathers to make the ensemble more Gloria's style.

Yes, things are a bit shaky for Lauren when she attempts to stop nature from taking its course by discouraging Gloria from marrying The Godfather himself Angelo. However, Gloria realizes she still loves Jeffrey and all that matters is in the end is that Lauren didn't back the wrong horse. After all, she very well could have ended up with a horse's head in her bed.
