On this episode of The Young and the Restless, Chelsea wears a silk blouse. Anyone else think she's resembling Leann Rimes? These days, Chelsea is a few drinks short of the singer's disastrous "How Do I Live" performance on The X Factor. Speaking of which, it doesn't hurt that the song pretty much sums up the brunette's feelings for her estranged husband. The lyrics ask, "If I had to live without you, what kind of life would that be?" Gloria, Jeffrey, and Anita would helpfully point out she would live a poor one. You know, since Adam "would take away everything real in [her] life." As Rimes croons, "Don't you know that you're everything," one can't help but think that yes, Adam is everything. "Her heart, her world, her soul." Sharon's, that is. Hope there was a prenup between Chelsea and Adam although who knows if this time, Sharon will get around to burning it.
On this episode of The Young and the Restless, Avery wears a red bodycon long sleeve dress. Remember when Pippa Middleton wrote her party planning book "Celebrate" and critics slammed it by saying most of the tips were obvious? Well, enter parody Twitter account @pippatips with gems like, "Make lunchtimes more interesting by buying some food and eating it with your mouth" and "Do you like cake? Simply make one with the right ingredients or buy one ready made and eat it." Now if Avery can whip up a delicious meal in a thousand dollar dress, who says the Duchess of Cambridge's sister can't give Thomas Paine a run for his money with her book of common sense and then spoof herself in an editorial?

Diane von Furstenberg Sarita Acorn Lace Dress

On this episode of The Young and the Restless, Victoria wears a turquoise top and a red skirt. She is as much a part of Newman Enterprises as Diane von Furstenberg is of her self-titled clothing label. While Victoria's portrait may not be the one hanging on the wall of the office a la Andy Warhol inspired DVF art, she has definitely helped shape the Newman company into what it is today. Just imagine, if Furstenberg had been ousted from her own fashion business, the iconic wrap dress may have never been created. That being said, Jack should think long and hard about terminating Victoria. After all, who knows what potential projects he is prematurely impeding by letting her go. And no, it is not purely coincidental that she just so happens to be decked out in Diane von Furstenberg.
Thank you to the wardrobe department for helping me with this outfit.

On this episode of The Young and the Restless, Phyllis wears a navy dress. She gets off scot-free? About as predictable as the demise of Jef and Emily's engagement. And Ben and Courtney's. As for Christine's anger, it probably mirrors Ben's shock upon seeing Arie and his ex-fiance together making out in less than the time it takes for a rose to lose its petals atop the Matterhorn. In her navy dress, Phyllis is definitely taking a page out of Courtney's book. You know, the one titled, "Winning." (P.S. For those who have absolutely no idea what I just said, I take it you don't watch The Bachelor?)
Thanks to the wardrobe department for ID'ing this dress. It is the Cacharel Wool and Silk Off-the-shoulder dress from Saks Fifth Avenue pictured below. Unfortunately, the dress is no longer available from when I first posted it on Twitter. (Which is why you should follow @theyoungstylish)

On this episode of The Young and the Restless, Nikki wears a blue dress. Is anyone else hoping she goes all "Amanda Clark" on Sharon now that Victor has been found? There is no doubt Nikki wants Revenge after what the wretch did to Newman Enterprises; Sharon had no trouble putting the "fun" in the Mustache's "funeral." Hey, she even has her supporting cast right alongside her: spoiled little bratty Charlotte? Abby. Computer tech wiz Nolan? Kevin. A mother like Victoria who will go to any lengths to protect her son? Phyllis. Now, we'll have to swap the luxurious Hamptons setting for a piece of Genoa City in the process but that's doable. Especially if the clothes are continually up to par.
Unfortunately, the dress does not seem to be available any longer in blue but here it is in magenta. Thank you to Melody Thomas Scott on Twitter and Sheilla on Facebook for ID'ing this dress.

On this episode of The Young and the Restless, Victoria wears a blue silk blouse. She doesn't seem to know her husband very well when she tells him, "Nothing you could say to me could upset me right now." The fact that Victoria actually utters this to a man who once bought a baby is absolutely absurd. Then again, she was so happy Victor was alive because she thought he was dead for all of two minutes. How often is one pronounced "dead" only to be found alive and well? For those in Genoa City, very often it seems. Remember when Sharon was pronounced "dead" too in the car crash only to be hiding out in New Mexico? Rinse, Recycle, Repeat. Cross your fingers the "baby buying" storyline isn't repeated anytime soon because that was rather unpleasant. On the other hand, repeating pretty blouses like this one? Acceptable and entirely encouraged.

On this episode of The Young and the Restless, Heather wears a black dress. As she sneaks around with Daniel, she jokes about their cloak-and-dagger relationship. Speaking of cloaks, Frodo's elven one with the capability to camouflage the wearer would have come in handy all this time. As for a certain quest to destroy a malevolent ring? That pesky little piece of metal Daisy still has on her finger would probably be the way to go now that she's surprisingly alive. Then again, Daniel could probably just give another ring to Heather after all things have been said and done. If he does, you know what that would make him? The Lord of the Rings. Although Lord of the Bracelets would be much more appropriate in his case.

On this episode of The Young and the Restless, Victoria wears a fuschia silk blouse. As she becomes the interim CEO of Newman Enterprises, it is quite obvious Nick is the Donny to her Marie. Yes, the Newman brother-sister duo are certainly holding down the fort (luckily, without the tacky garb and scary hair) while Victor's off losing his mind. Literally. However, there is no doubt Victoria is ready to run a company if not a country while Nick is all set to rock and roll.

On this episode of The Young and the Restless, Sharon wears a blue dress and a moon necklace with a hanging star. It is clear by her recent behavior that she is finally standing up for herself; she is waisting no time making up for all those years of being a doormat. Avery, however, is trying to convince Nick to paint his ex-wife (and new step-mother) as a Woman on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown. Sharon's definitely the opposite of depressed now that Victor, her husband of five minutes, has skipped town. While she's making enemies left and right in the boardroom, hopefully somebody doesn't try to give her some gazpacho laced with sleeping pills. And with any luck, she will not announce that she's pregnant with Tucker's child at the end of all this.

This photo comes from CBS.com and is from a Y&R Promo Shoot. With drool-worthy dresses like these, one cannot help but wonder whether they are promoting The Young and the Restless, the talented actors, or the noteworthy clothes. Luckily, here's the scoop on both fabulous frocks.

On this episode of The Young and the Restless, Lily wears a red backless dress. While some may call her a worry bird, she has every right to be concerned about her family. Lily really should take a page out of Bob Marley's songbook and know that when Cane is by her side, everything's gonna be alright. And hey, it doesn't help that those "three little birds pitched by her doorstep singing sweet songs of melodies pure and true" are also making pretty dresses with talking mice in their spare time. Now if only they can turn a pumpkin into a carriage so Genevieve can ride off into the sunset.

On this episode of The Young and the Restless, Sharon wears a neon pink dress with a knotted bodice. You know how they say nobody should wear white to a wedding so as to not take attention away from the bride? (Pippa Middleton comes to mind!) In this dress, Sharon proves somebody should add hot pink to that list. Even though she's on Victor's arm and showered in diamonds, she's not exactly royalty. However, in the end, Nick didn't bother to duke it out with her and spared the attendees from witnessing a battle royale. Not only did Sharon get spared from being throne out but upstaging everyone in that dress may as well have been her crowning achievement.

(Note: On the Saks website, the picture of the dress does not appear to be as neon as the one Sharon is wearing. Rest assured, it is the exact dress as relayed to me by the show's wardrobe department, with the only alteration being the length of the dress. Also, if you read the reviews on Saks, people say the dress is very bright in person.)

On this episode of The Young and the Restless, Ashley wears a halter maxi dress. Luckily, the party allows her to halt from thinking about the numerous problems in her marriage. Ashley deserves some fun under the sun before she tells Tucker to stick it where the sun don't shine. One thing that has many ablaze? Her printed summer frock.

On this episode of The Young and the Restless, Christine wears a red blazer. She confronts Phyllis about her lackluster greeting and name calling which seems rather silly. After all, did Christine really expect her nemesis to roll out the red carpet on account of her arrival? The Scarlet Letter comes to mind while these two bicker but it is Christine's red jacket that somehow manages to mock her foe while conveying plenty of four-letter words. Now if only Genoa City residents can take a page out of Cricket's book and let their clothes do all of the talking...

On this episode of The Young and the Restless, Nikki wears a pink dress. She knows there is no better way to celebrate Mother's Day than in this momentous dress. The only thing more memorable than her frock? The kiss between her ex-husband and her ex-daughter-in-law. Talk about dealing the quite the motherload. While Nikki squares off with Sharon over Victor, at least she has the good sense to wear a dress with a matching neckline.

On this episode of The Young and the Restless, Ashley wears a pink and black blazer. Unfortunately by the looks of it, she will likely be blazing through another marriage. Hopefully, Ashley's relationship with Tucker will not end in a blaze of publicity although if a messy divorce does ensue, the duo will surely fight with all guns blazing. Whether Mrs. McCall blazes a trail for separation is yet unseen but one thing is evident: her jacket is certainly blazing with color and style.

On this episode of The Young and the Restless, Chloe wears a colorblock dress. While the Fischer clan will be the new kids on the block when they move into their abode, one can only hope Carmine doesn't purchase new digs as well. After all, he is determined to be a stumbling block for Chloe and Kevin, threatening their long-awaited bliss. And unfortunately for Chloe, her attempts to block all thoughts of Angelina from her mind have thus far proven futile. It's a shame she had to show her true colors and will Jersey's finest into staying in Genoa City.
She appears to be wearing the Rebecca Minkoff 'Claudia' dress pictured below.

It no longer seems to be available in black but is listed below in other colors.

On this episode of The Young and the Restless, Angelina wears a silk top with metallic shoulders. Upon her introduction, it's been clear she's taken her fashion cues from Snooki with the hair poof, excessive leopard, and gigantic jewelry. At this stage of the game, Angelina's toned down the Jersey Shore influences quite a bit. Instead, she's opted for a look that lets the world know she's a serious performer (with a one hit wonder) because after all, the world's her stage. In reality, this is only the case because Angelo ensures it is so. Remember, you can take the girl out of Jersey but you can't take the Jersey out of the girl, hence her earrings that more closely resemble bracelets.
