On this episode of The Young and the Restless, Lily wears a purple ruffle top. Jennifer Lawrence told Marie Claire South Africa that she is addicted to junk food and reality television. What are the chances Lily is obsessed with the same two things? Probably slim to none considering she is working "Like Crazy" during the "Winter's Bone" cold months. Lily's career may be "Catching Fire" but at the end of the day, she still goes home to her "House at the End of the Street" and spends quality time with her lovely husband and her adorable twins. Not exactly a pack of Red Vines and a National Geographic show about "The Beaver" species but a fantastic fixation just the same.
On this episode of The Young and the Restless, Lily wears a black dress and a burgundy blazer. Was Neil's decision to hire Leslie's brother, who undoubtedly has a thing for his happily married daughter, a smart idea? Especially when Tyler's guerrilla marketing campaign with the eye (Gatsby, anyone?) enraged Jack so. Isn't this similar to Instagram's controversial new terms of service? Considering the app's changes caused just about everyone and their mother to panic, one could argue it was not the company's best move. And as for Jabot, it's almost as if Tyler suggested using a consumer's snapshot in their new ad. Whether one is picturing Lily and Leslie's brother together down the road or themselves finding and using a new photo app, one thing is clear: change isn't necessarily always a good thing.
On this episode of The Young and the Restless, Lily wears a v neck cardigan. As she goes along with Devon's plan to make their office a more casual atmosphere (why oh why?) one can't help but think of Norma Rae's plight. True, Lily and Co aren't exactly experiencing Dickensian working conditions but doesn't their dilemma also revolve around textiles? Then again, convincing Neil to loosen his tie every so often does what, exactly? Besides making him look a bit sloppy and unkempt, of course. Just because Lily can make "casual chic " look so effortless doesn't mean the rest of her colleagues can. Think of all those gifted ties in Genoa City this holiday season that will sadly remain unworn if this casual work environment becomes an actual "thing." Way to be a Fashion Grinch, Devon.
On this episode of The Young and the Restless, Lily wears a red dress and gold necklace. Now that she's Working 9 to 5, one can't deny it's quite a way to make a living surrounded by her dad, brother, and husband. Luckily, Lily's boss would never just "use her mind" and not give her the proper credit. As Dolly Parton sings, she is "hardly just a step, on the boss man's ladder" and Neil would never even dream of taking her dreams away. More importantly, Neil would obviously recognize Lily's "service and devotion" and surely "give her a promotion." Forget "cup of ambition." How about a nice steaming mug of nepotism?
On this episode of The Young and the Restless, Lily wears a yellow lace dress. Does her relationship with Cane remind anybody else of Ashley and JP's? Besides the fact that both couples are young and very much in love, the Rosenbaums and Ashbys each own a Yorkshire Terrier. Absolutely adorable, right? And just like the Genoa City pair will always have Paris, the newlyweds will always have Fiji. Now if only the Bachelorette duo would hurry up and have twins, Chris Harrison's life would be complete.
On this episode of The Young and the Restless, Lily wears a colorblock dress. As she worries about working with her husband, he reassures her they can work together because love conquers all. Given that the couple has not only overcome cancer, infertility, and Cane's "death" but are also raising twins and dealing with Genevieve's antics on a daily basis, Lily finally realizes she should take the job. It will be nice to see her trade in those mom jeans and applique mom jeans vest (not literally, thank goodness) for some business attire.
Thanks to reader Neelam for ID'ing this dress! She also shared the dress runs small so keep that in mind when ordering.
On this episode of The Young and the Restless, Lily wears a burgundy dress. Who thinks she should nominate her mother-in-law to appear on that TLC show Extreme Cheapskates? With the way Genevieve was going on and on to poor Lily about how she managed to get information out of the strange brunette woman for free, you would think she hadn't just bribed her with one hundred thousand dollars only minutes beforehand. And Lily questioning whether Ms. Atkinson even had such money in the first place? Pretty priceless. Although Genevieve's not running around town cutting her own hair and wearing clothes she's had since 1998, it would make for a fascinating episode of the series just the same.
On this episode of The Young and the Restless, Lily wears a strapless dress. As she gracefully strips for Cane, one has to wonder if he knows how good he's got it. Some men, like Doug Heffernan from The King of Queens, not only have to beg their wives to engage in activities like taking pole dancing classes but then end up very disappointed with the results. (Admittedly, Carrie was hilariously bad.) Meanwhile, Cane is busy still picking up his jaw off of the floor at the sight of Lily. Any coincidence fashionistas are busy picking their jaws off of the floor at the sight of her pretty dress? Here, so you can hang it in the pole in your closet.
On this episode of The Young and the Restless, Lily wears a purple drape neck top. In this situation, it is not hard to see that she is channeling Debra Barone and Genevieve is Marie Barone. Poor Lily is trying to do what is best for her children and Genevieve is stopping by, meddling, and being an overall pain in the behind. Funnily enough, Genevieve also has a favorite child (Samantha) just like Marie (Raymond). Fortunately, Genevieve is having financial problems and will not be buying the house across from the Ashby residence anytime soon unless Tucker comes around and decides to buy it for her. And because EverybodyLovesRaymondLily'stop...
On this episode of The Young and the Restless, Lily wears a crochet fringe tunic. She discusses her family problems with her friend and ex-boyfriend Daniel. Lily complains Genevieve and Cane aren't exactly getting along which seems like a pesky little fly one can shoo away compared to the Romalotti family antics. Daniel's wife has disappeared (long time no flea) and may have been murdered (with a bee bee gun) by a man who was blackmailing his mother. Speaking of which, Phyllis is under suspicion for attempted murder and continues to weave her web of lies and deceit. Unfortunately, the fun doesn't end there because she also paid Off a potential witness to keep quiet and then was in the midst of "seducing" him when he dropped dead. She proceeded to Raid his apartment and move his cadaver. Seems a lot worse when it's all laid out, doesn't it? Phyllis may be the one acting like the Black Widow but lucky for Lily, she's the one in the woven top.
On this episode of The Young and the Restless, Lily wears a floral printed dress. At least she can have peace of mind knowing Cane has attempted to make peace with his mother. Ever the peacemaker, after her husband gave Genevieve a piece of his mind, she encouraged him to apologize. It's true that Lily's mother-in-law hardly kept her peace either but it will be interesting to see if Samantha is still resting in peace or if she is stirring up trouble in hopes of a peace offering. At least Lily is well equipped for any future scuffles with her boho chic high low dress that just happens to be dubbed the "Peace Maker" dress. There's peace, love, and Free People dresses for you.
On this episode of The Young and the Restless, Lily wears a printed skort. She goes to a bookstore to look for vintage bedtime stories for her twins. How about Goodnight Moon? It seems rather applicable in her situation. Goodnight to Cane's former boss Ashley as she decides to leave town. Goodnight loveless marriage between Neil and Sofia. Goodnight awkward run-ins with Neil and Harmony. And goodnight to skorts (shorts that look like a skirt) in general even if this particular one happens to look good on Lily.
On this episode of The Young and the Restless, Lily wears a white vest dress. She is definitely invested in helping Cane figure out who is threatening their family. Lily vested her husband with the power to trust his mother and now, Genevieve's motives are proving to be questionable at vest. This being said, the Ashby clan would be best advised to play their cards close to their vest.
On this episode of The Young and the Restless, Lily wears a sleeveless top. She spends time with her family at Devon's recording studio and yada yada yada. Obviously Lily knows better than to wear a puffy shirt while elsewhere, her sponge-worthy husband Cane is discussing money matters with his mother Genevieve "Maybe the dingo ate her baby" Atkinson. On the surface, it would seem their day is pretty much about nothing but after taking a closer look, one realizes the day is really about nothing in particular. Hey, at least it's better than time spent in which the phrase "Serenity Now" ensues.
On this episode of The Young and the Restless, Lily wears a multicolor top. While others are honoring stripes and stars, she's wearing stripes and wondering who in the galaxy could want to threaten her family. Lily also defends her mother-in-law when Cane accuses her of meddling but unfortunately, the fireworks still go off between mother and son. Perhaps next year, they better stick to hot dogs, parades, and family fun.
She is wearing the Bright Stripe Sleeveless Top Pink top by WallpapHer. The tank is pictured below but unfortunately, is no longer available.
On this episode of The Young and the Restless, Lily wears a printed dress. She certainly manages to keep things in perspective at the twins' birthday; realizing family is the most important thing, she knows there is still life in Devon and Harmony's relationship. For art's sake not only is she one of a kind for putting others' needs before her own but it is pretty perfect Lily is wearing a frock inspired by Monet's Water Lilies oil paintings. This along with her good-naturedness is why it is no surprise she leaves quite an impression on party guests in her impressionist dress.
On this episode of The Young and the Restless, Lily wears a red backless dress. While some may call her a worry bird, she has every right to be concerned about her family. Lily really should take a page out of Bob Marley's songbook and know that when Cane is by her side, everything's gonna be alright. And hey, it doesn't help that those "three little birds pitched by her doorstep singing sweet songs of melodies pure and true" are also making pretty dresses with talking mice in their spare time. Now if only they can turn a pumpkin into a carriage so Genevieve can ride off into the sunset.
On this episode of The Young and the Restless, Lily wears a white top with blue pants. Looks like she isn't afraid to roll up her nonexistent sleeves and take it out back with Genevieve. Lily commands attention from her mother-in-law (who is behaving like a dingbat) in this adorable getup which would even make a wombat swoon. Hopefully the Ashby family doesn't move to the land down under because as cute as this outfit is, it isn't exactly cut out for the outback.
On this episode of The Young and the Restless, Lily wears a printed dress. Who knows why the lovely mother of two would choose to wear a backless dress when her mother-in-law and husband seem to have so many enemies. While Lily undoubtedly knows to watch her back given her family's current situation, one can't help but sympathise with the back-to-back drama in her life. Yes, Cane's back may be against the wall but there is no doubt she will break her back to ensure the safety of her loved ones. Not only does Lily deserve praise for not turning her back given the turmoil but a pat on the back is in order for choosing this dress.
On this episode of The Young and the Restless, Lily wears a denim shirtdress. As she waits with Devon at the hospital, she proves it should be a requirement to wear jean when waiting to hear life-altering news with those who share your genes. Thankfully, although Lily was decked out in denim blue, she only had reason to celebrate. As for her cute little dress with the belt? It definitely demonstrates her wardrobe choice is far from a waist of an outfit.
Here is a similar belted denim shirtdress. If anyone knows who makes the original, please share.
On this episode of The Young and the Restless, Lily wears a white cable knit pullover. While donning this look, she pulls up a chair and listens as Devon knits his brows at the thought of working with Tucker. Lily knows while their father-son relationship isn't exactly black and white, she's pulling out all the punches to make sure they make beautiful music together. And it doesn't hurt that all the while, Tucker is singing Devon's praises. Yes, the thought of Devon and Tucker getting along is music to Lily's ears but for the record, it is her white top that is making viewer's wallets sing.
On this episode of The Young and the Restless, Lily wears a sheer dress. What's sheer madness, however, is how she is not with Devon while he gets his surgery. Sure Lily hears he is alright and is plenty relieved but one would think since the Winters family is so close, she would never hear the end of it where her absence is concerned. After all, it's one thing to be present but to be "out to lunch" and a whole other thing to literally be lunching during the procedure. Perhaps she really is laced with some guilt if her lovely dress has anything to do with it.
*Update 3/15/12: Thank you Susan who identified the dress in the comments section! Lily is wearing the Unconditional Osier dress in blue from Anthropologie pictured below. It retails for $168.00 but is no longer available on the site. There are, however, a couple for sale on eBay.

On this episode of The Young and the Restless, Lily wears a blouse with lace insets. All things considered, the top is appropriate given the constant stream of guests inserting themselves into her home upon her return from France. Perhaps next time, Lily will be inspired to marry Cane in London and the two will bring back a Buckingham Palace guard as a souvenir. Then again, while the pair wants nothing more than to bid "Cheerio" to their surprise visitors so they can shag, at the very least she gets to show off her pretty blouse. And it just so happens to be called "the Lilian."
On this episode of The Young and the Restless, Lily wears a dress with a hi-low hem. Lo and behold, she will be marrying Cane in France thanks to the couple having friends in high places. There is no doubt Lily and her man have certainly had many highs and lows over the years; to see Lily fall for Cane all over again was as sweet as a a box of macarons. While some may think that a destination wedding is gilding the lily, it seems like the perfect way to stay high on cloud nine. See? Every cloud does have a silver lining.
She appears to be wearing a hi-lo dress by Lush that retails for $49.00. Unfortunately, it no longer seems to be available but is pictured below in a different color.

On the February 14, 2012 episode of The Young and the Restless, Lily marries Cane. Thanks to Katherine's generosity, these two lovebirds exchange "I dos" in France. Yes, one may be experiencing deja vu since this couple has already tied the knot before but one thing that hasn't been seen yet? Lily's lovely lace haute couture wedding dress. After all, if she isn't a la mode in the Monique Lhuillier "Dede" wedding gown from the Spring 2012 bridal collection, than who is?
The gown falls in the $3,500-$5,000 price range.
